  • My fee is $150 / 50-minute individual session (all inclusive, no HST is charged).

    Payments can be made by credit card or e-transfer. A receipt will be issued immediately upon payment.

  • Every benefit plan is different, so please check with yours to ensure that you are covered for Social Work or Psychotherapy services provided by a Registered Social Worker. You may also want to verify the amount that you will be reimbursed. You will need to submit my receipt directly to your provider for reimbursement.

  • All appointments with individuals residing in Ontario are currenting being completed virtually through a secure and easy-to-use platform called Jane.

  • Your privacy is important to me. Jane, the platform I use to conduct virtual appointments, uses industry standard security controls such an encryption and an SSL (Secured Sockets Layers) certificate to ensure information is transmitted over a secured connection. It is compliant with the Ontario Personal Health Information and Protection Act (PHIPA). I also subscribe to an email service that encrypts data to enhance the security of our electronic communications.

  • Your free 20-minute consultation is an opportunity to ask questions and share a little bit about your current challenges and what you would like support with. I will also share more about myself and my approach, and together we’ll decide if we’d like to try working together.

  • Psychotherapy, often referred to as talk therapy or counselling, is a therapeutic approach that involves a trained mental health professional working with an individual to address and improve emotional and psychological well-being.

  • I saw my very first windmill while traveling in the Netherlands many years ago, and I vividly recall being struck by its size, strength and beauty. I now see similarities between windmills and psychotherapy, which is why I honour them in my practice name.

    • Windmills can refine and process wheat into flour, just as psychotherapy can help you refine your behaviours and process difficult past events.

    • Windmills can pump water, just as psychotherapy can help you manage the flow of your thoughts and emotions.

    • Windmills can produce electricity, just as psychotherapy can empower you to take action and move towards what is most important to you.

    • Windmills are also considered an ancient technology, a nod to the inherent wisdom in all of us.
